HL Austin is located in Wandsworth, our MOT testing station is ideal for South West London and Surrey customers, and nearest to Southfields, Wimbledon, Putney, Fulham, Chelsea, Earlsfield, Battersea, Richmond, Barnes, Sutton, Morden and Kingston.

Our garage has all the latest facilities to carry out the MOT and emissions test for all makes and models, and we are equipped to test both petrol and diesel engines.

The MOT Test can be carried out while you wait, or you can leave your car with us for the day, or as part of your car's service.

If you are waiting for your MOT, we will ensure that the test is carried out promptly and efficiently, so you are inconvenienced as little as possible. We also have a very pleasant customer seating area with complementary refreshments and a daily newspaper. The test normally takes just over an hour to complete.

We only use Tecalemit four post lifts and the very latest SUN diagnostic platforms. So when your car is being tested, its good to know the equipment used at our test centre is the best available, to ensure an accurate test result.

We are a Class IV MOT test centre for:

-Cars, Motor Caravans.

-Dual purpose vehicles.

-PSVs up to 8 passenger seats.

-Goods Vehicles (Up to 3,000 kg DGW).

-Private passenger vehicles.

If possible, please bring your V5 Vehicle Registration Document (for the first MOT) or your current MOT certificate to the test, so that any forward dating can be carried out if applicable - as vehicles can be tested up to one month prior to the expiry date.

Please note that the test relates only to the condition of the testable items at the time of the test. It should not be regarded as evidence of the condition of the items tested at any other time, nor should it be taken as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle.
